8 Months

It's time for yet another monthly post and the photo shoots are getting so much fun to shoot. I feel like we are"over the hill," now that we have reached 8 months and are in the home stretch to ONE YEAR, which makes mommy sad! Riley continues to bring excitement and joy to our lives everyday and we LOVE this age. I'll let Riley talk now, she is dying to let you know all that she has accomplished over the last month.

Hello Family and Friends! I want to start by wishing you all a Merry Christmas. Our house is filled with Christmas spirit as I hope yours is as well. As for me now...I am about to crawl!!!! Mommy and daddy think I will crawl by Christmas. I lean over and get on all fours and then push myself back. I have my first TOOTH! HOORAY! It's not bothering me too much but maybe just a little. I learned how to clap this month which is so fun.

I am eating cheerios, puffs, and eating all kinds of fruits and veggies. I really love all of the fresh foods mommy prepares for me. I am such a wonderful sleeper and eater and all around wonderful baby.

I went to the doctor this month for a second flu shot and I weighed 19.6 lbs.

Toys I love are the singing, popping, hippo, my activity table, LOVE the jump up (I mean I could bounce all day long), outdoor swing, outdoor little push car, the dancing and singing Merry Christmas penguin, and really anything for me to chew on and that is just to name a few.

I am so looking forward to Christmas Day and I have visited Santa twice and I hear I am going two more times. That is all for now. Merry Christmas and Happy New year. I'll keep you posted on what all I received for Christmas and hopefully I will be crawling by the next post. Love and joy to all! RES.

If you believe, you shall recieve

We had a wonderful weekend this past weekend with the Christmas parties and Christmas activities. We had a wonderful time going to see Santa at Airlie. The lights and displays are incredible, so if you have not been you must go. I did not think Riley would cry on Santa's lap, but she was not really feeling Santa. I think mommy and daddy scared her more because we were making funny noises so she would look at the camera. This is such a special time of year and we are so blessed to have our sweet little girl to celebrate this joyous season. Merry Christmas!

umm..Hello Santa?!?! So this is who you are, huh?

Interesting...ok, nice beard...

Not feeling it Mommy and Daddy, I am ready to go

Get me away from this Santa man

Lights at Airlie Gardens. It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

Listening to Santa read "The Night Before Christmas"

Yep, not feeling this Santa man again.

I am going to crawl soon, watch out Mommy and Daddy! HE HE HE

THANKSgiving

We have so much to be thankful for this year. Riley is a true blessing and brings excitement, love and joy to our lives everyday. We spent the week in Charlotte and then middle of the week traveled to Georgia for a couple days then back to Charlotte for the weekend. Lots of miles traveled for our family but so great seeing everyone. We hope everyone had a very wonderful Thanksgiving.

7 Months

Our sweet baby girl continues to bring joy to our lives everyday. We can't even believe the holidays are here, I mean Thanksgiving is next Thursday, that is so crazy. I know I say this all of the time but time really flies. 7 months, really Riley is 7 MONTHS??? This age is so much fun and we are so excited every morning to play with sweet Riley and see what new developments she has to show us. Now, here she is:

Hi Everyone! I will start by wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. The doctor said I coudl eat turkey mashed up, but mommy and daddy are not sure but I am looking forward to it and may sneak some while they are not looking.

I went for my 6 months appointment and I am 18.2 lbs, and 27 1/4 inches tall. I am in the 95% for my height and 85% for my weight. Doctor Edwards says I am growing perfectly. I eat three meals a day and love everything! I am sitting up on my own and playing with all kinds of toys. I LOVE to stand up with the assistance of mommy and daddy, but I am not crawling yet. My parents think I will just go straight to walking, but I'm full of surprises, so we shall see. Anything that comes within my reach I will grab, so watch out. Laughing and giggling are my favorite things to do, so if you want a laugh just come on over and I will crack you up and make your day so enjoyable. I had my six month pictures taken that mommy will share next blog post and boy, are they AWESOME. I just had my Christmas picture taken as well so when the photographer gets those to us, mommy will share as well. I love the camera! That is all for now. Happy Turkey day.

Say what?

Look what I can do mommy and daddy?

Over it..
