A Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

It's officially Fall now that we have made our visit to the pumpkin patch and we are loving it. Our playgroup decided to take a filed trip to the pumpkin patch because we had to get these cuties in front of pumpkins for our adorable picture. All girls are within three months of one another and Kate and Riley were born on the same day just two doors down from one another:). We could not have asked for better weather and we had a blast. Later that afternoon we went back as a family to actually pick out pumpkins and we had such a special afternoon. Our first trip with miss Riley was so much fun and only the first of many years at the pumpkin patch. Happy Fall ya'll!

Over the river and through the woods...

We have had a busy Fall thus far.. phew, life certainly does not slow down. Matt's grandmother came up for the week and Riley was able to see both great grandmas in the same week, how exciting. Riley and I then traveled to Greenwood, SC to visit my grandmother, then headed to Greenville, SC for a girls weekend with my mom, Emily (my sister-in-law), her mom, sister and sister-in-law and we had a blast. THEN mom and Riley and I headed to go apple picking on our way back to Charlotte. We grew up going apple picking and it is nice to start this tradition back over the last two years. We have a busy week traveling but was so much fun to see everyone:)

5 Months

Here we are again.. another month and our angel is growing before our eyes. Riley has us wrapped around her little finger. She is truly the best little baby and we are so blessed to have her in our lives. We love you sweet girl, now here she is:

Hi everyone! I am 5 months old and boy do I think I am cute. I light up my mommy and daddy every time they see me. Baby Einstein videos are so fun to watch and my exersaucer is my favorite activity in the house. Mommy and Daddy put up a swing in the backyard and OMG it is A-W-E-S-O-M-E! I am rolling over and giggling like crazy. I am discovering new sounds that I make so while I am shopping with mommy I love talking to her. I also love making new sounds on my changing pad and on walks. The bath and pool are still so much fun to me and I am splashing all around, it's delightful. I tried oatmeal on my 5 month birthday and it was yummy but tomorrow may be a little better since today was my first time I have been introduced to food. I am almost about to sit up so that is my goal for 6 months. I have conquered all my 5 month goals so I am very proud of myself. Well, off to swing. Love y'all. xoxo

I am so fortunate to have had such wonderful high school girlfriends and even better that we are still so VERY close. I love these girls and we continue to have such wonderful laughs and make amazing memories to this day. What a great weekend we had celebrating Melissa's wedding weekend. Riley got to hang out with a few of her friends as well;) We sure miss them already:( Love ya'll more than you know.
