Celebrating with Friends

This weekend was so great catching up wild old friends. I am so happy to have kept in touch with my high school friends, I think it is so wonderful and special that we are all so close and have kept in touch over the years. We had so much fun celebrating Heather's baby at the shower and then that evening Melissa and Danny's engagement. I was also able to meet my daughter's future husband, Mr. William Clark Morrison. What a cutie pie he is and I can't wait for Jennifer and Brian's sweet baby boy grow up with out Sweet baby girl, due in 10 weeks:) What a special time of year for everyone!

This past weekend I was so blessed to have such a beautiful shower thrown with all of my Wilmington friends and my family! It was such a beautiful shower and great visiting with all my friends and family at once:) Sweet baby Riley is so loved already and if she only knew how many boyfriends she has waiting on her arrival she would be amazed. I am so blessed to have such wonderful and special family and friends that mean so much to me and helped in celebrating such a wonderful occasion. Thank you so much to everyone for making this day so special.

The food and decor were both delicious and gorgeous!

Jennifer's Shower

This past weekend we threw a shower for our friend Jennifer. What a beautiful day and such a lovely shower. Jennifer is one of my dearest friends and so it was so much fun planning a shower for she and baby Clark, (whom I can't wait to meet and put my hand on in a few weeks). Our little babies are going to be best buds or well girl/boy friends:) We will see!!!!!

The trained themed shower was a hit and Jennifer sure went home with lots of beautiful gifts for them to enjoy. I hope everyone has a very Happy Thanksgiving!

The train theme was so fun

Blue Birds and a Baby Shower

Lyndsey was greeted at the front door with this adorable diaper wreath that we made
As guests arrived they were asked to sign the all time classic book, "Richard Scarry's Favorite Storybook Ever" As Lyndsey reads to her baby Jones she can see all the sweet messages that her family and friends wrote which will bring back fun memories.

Baby blue bird nest cupcakes that we made were a fantastic spring dessert to celebrate this wonderful little baby that is about to arrive.
Peeps make a great easy spring pop to the dessert table.

Mason jars tied with ribbon and filled with a little blue flower is a simple but classic look to a centerpiece.

Everyone loves to look at baby pictures

Refreshing Sparkling Punch was a hit on the most gorgeous Saturday afternoon.

Up close on the DESSERTS!
Blue and Brown Pretzels sticks!! Instructions are on my Valentine's Day blog.

GAMES
Kim asked Chris some questions about babies and Lyndsey had to try and guess what he had said. if she got the question wrong, Lyndsey would have to eat baby peas...YUCK!!!

String game- Everyone estimates how much string will fit around Lyndsey's belly and cute a piece of string. Some people thought her belly was bigger than it really was:), but Lyndsey's mother-in-law had it PERFECT and was the winner!!!!
