Comfort Food or a Cold Day


Chicken Divan Casserole

2 (10 oz) packages frozen broccoli, chopped
6 cups shredded chicken
1 (10 3/4 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup Mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
1 cup grated sharp cheddar
1 tbl. fresh lemon juice
1 tsp. curry powder
S&P
1/2 cup dry white wine
1/2 cup fresh grated Parmesan
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
2 tbl. butter, melted

Preheat 350

Directions:
Remove outer wrapper from boxes of broccoli. Open 1 end of each boc. Microwave on full power for 2 minutes until thawed.

Drain broccoli and put into a casserole dish. Add shredded chicken
Combine in a med bowl, soup, mayo, sour cream, cheddar, Lemon juice, curry powder, salt and pepper to taste and wine. Whisk together to make a sauce. Pour over broccoli and chicken. mix well with spatula.
Place mixture in 9x13 casserole dish. Pat down evenly and smooth. Combine Parmesan, bread crumbs, and butter and sprinkle over top. bake 30-45 min until bubbly around edges.
